Card Divination...a tool of the Devil?
The art of being able to interpret the cards comes from the Devil! Well, that is indeed an interesting statement...and one I have heard many times. In my experience as a Tarot and Lenormand card reader, Charm caster extraordinaire, I find that people turn to the cards when they are seeking help or guidance. The guidance and advice offered is often practical and helpful...does this sound like something serving Satan? All throughout time people have shunned what they don't understand, and Tarot card reading is no different.
A Tarot deck contains 78 pieces of cardboard with pictures on them. Depending on the deck, they may be pretty and cute, they may be abstract, and yes at times they may even be disturbing, but each card speaks to different aspects of our lives or our spirituality and this makes them very helpful in all their forms. The pictures open our "Intuition" and allow clarification where all appears unclear, offers hope when there appears to be none, offers advice when the way forward appears bleak and unknown.
No. Card divination is not a tool of the Devil any more than the Car or aeroplane, which I am sure were once thought of in such a way. It is a tool to help and assist us to help each other navigate through this life that the good Lord or the Universe did not provide a map for.
